Look at this sweet little boy

Jeremy made his grand entrance and is here to join us. What a sweet little boy. Thanks for modeling my new props

I met sweet little Juliet at Day Camp when she was only 3 years old and was battling Lukemia. Look at her now. 2 years cancer free and as beautiful as ever. Her mom and grandma are just the sweetest ladies and I always enjoy talking to them in the morning when they drop Juliet off at camp. Well, almost three weeks ago now, Juliet’s baby brother was born. Isn’t he darling. It was so good to see this wonderful family while I was in San Diego. They will always have a special place in my heart.
Go ahead…let your hearts melt as you look at the pictures

Here are just a few images from the 6 sessions and wedding I shot this weekend in San Diego. Let’s just say my body is still exhausted.
Ahh…this girl needs to be a model. Kimberly, you’re GORGEOUS!

I finally got to meet baby Jack…13 days old!

My little camper from Day Camp is growing up so fast! As of yesterday, she’s been CANCER FREE for two years. You’re a miracle Juliet. Love you sweet girl!

Brent & Jessica are ENGAGED!

I shot Chris and Sandy’s wedding at the Bahia Resort on Mission Bay in a cute romantic garden, and the reception was held on the William D. Evans Sternwheeler. Absolutely beautiful!

Miss Alexa is graduating high school…and is stunning. I think you have a career in modeling in the future my friend!

Katie & Cody…the cutest couple. Their love is so real.

Emmalyn is graduating with my friend Megan from USD with her masters in nursing. How cool?! Girl, you’re almost done! An early congrats to you!

You probably remember Pattie that I posted about last week with her grandkids. You know…the absolutely darling kids with her!
When I heard Pattie was diagnosed with Breast Cancer, I was taken back to the day when I found out my little sister, Emily, was diagnosed with Neuroblastoma (a childhood cancer) at only 8 years old. I re-lived a lot of those memories for a week or so, and my heart just broke for Pattie’s family because I know all those feelings they’re experiencing. What my family and I went through those 2 1/2 years was tough and a huge test of our faith. So many people have asked me what got me through that time. # 1 was my faith in the Lord, that he was going to take care of everything and he was where I’d find my comfort, strength, and peace. #2 was my sister Emily. Even though she was the one that spent all the nights in the hospital, had numerous surgeries, several rounds of chemo, several treatments of radiation, took countless pills each day…SHE WAS MY STRENGTH. It blew me away how much faith an 8 year old could have in the Lord. She was never scared, and she always had a smile on her face and kept the family laughing, even up to those moments before she passed away. When Emily knew she didn’t have much time left she told my family, “Jesus and I will be waiting for you in heaven.” Hearing her say that gave me so much peace. She knew God was going to take care of her. Losing a sister is not easy by any means, but I’ve held onto that phrase she told us and it makes me so excited to see her in heaven someday.
All this to say, I really felt God put it on my heart to help out Pattie and her family. I find it so easy to connect to families that are going through what I’ve been through, and I count that as a blessing. So here’s a little way for my to give to Pattie’s family using the gifts God has so graciously given me since she won’t be able to work during all of her treatment.
Please pass this on to all your friends and family, and keep Pattie and her family in your prayers. Thanks so much!

Just playing around with some new textures! yay or nay?

Isn’t she the most precious little baby? Oh, I just love her. She is so cute and has so much hair! I had to snap some quick pictures of her while Allie was over. Dylan wanted his pictures taken too. The lovely Arnoldi’s.

I spent 3 hours at Steven and Erin’s with little Paxton trying to get some pictures for his baby announcements. Well we got about 10 good ones. The rest of the time he was eating, crying, peeing on Erin, pooping on Steven, and having his diaper changed. It was like a circus. He didn’t sleep the whole time. Of course he’s never like this until I get there to take his pictures. HAHA. This boy better get used to modeling because he’s got it coming for at least the next…well forever really
There will be lots more of this little munchkin! Don’t worry!
